School Description
Founded in 1871, the University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University) is a state university offering approximately 150 areas of study to 11,100 undergraduate and graduate students.

In 1996, the university was designated Missouri's lead institution for professional technology, an area long recognized as one of the university's greatest strengths.

The new mission has expanded this commitment and means that Central Missouri will continue to integrate the latest technologies into every level of its comprehensive liberal arts curriculum.

Central Missouri is committed to acquiring, disseminating, and utilizing technology to enhance the university's comprehensive educational mission.
